Fishtown’s ‘Stouts & Snouts’ Returns With 20+ Restaurants Serving Stouts and Pork-Inspired Dishes

St. Patrick’s Day weekend in Fishtown is getting a flavorful twist as the Stouts & Snouts returns on Saturday, March 14, bringing a neighborhood-wide celebration of stout beers, pork-inspired dishes, and creative cocktails.

Hosted by the Fishtown Kensington Area Business Improvement District, the event runs from 11 a.m. until close and will feature more than 20 participating bars and restaurants across the neighborhood. Best of all, the event is free to attend, with food and drinks available pay-as-you-go.

The event invites beer lovers, foodies, and curious explorers to spend the day hopping between participating spots along Frankford Avenue and beyond. Each location will showcase stout beer specials, pork-inspired dishes, and festive cocktails leading up to St. Patrick’s Day.

“Fishtown District is thrilled to bring back this destination food-and-drink event to our thriving commercial corridor,” said Marc Collazzo, Executive Director of the Fishtown Kensington Area BID. “It’s a great way to spend the day sampling creative pairings at our unique eateries and taverns while supporting local businesses.”

Local restaurateur Paul Kimport, owner of Johnny Brenda’s and The International Bar, added, “Through every season, Fishtown’s business community loves coming together as proud hosts to showcase the neighborhood’s energy, pride, and diversity. With St. Patrick’s Day around the corner, we encourage visitors to come to the Fishtown District on March 14 to enjoy Stouts and Snouts.”

Several restaurants have already previewed their specials for the event. Highlights include:

Evil Genius Beer Company serving its Chocolate Hazelnut Imperial Stout alongside a Cuban sandwich.

Fette Sau offering Hawaiian-style pulled pork sliders braised in stout with pineapple slaw.

Lloyd Whiskey Bar featuring candied bacon deviled eggs and stout-braised pork belly.

Other Half Brewing preparing stout-braised BBQ pulled pork sandwiches and carnitas tacos.

Wm. Mulherin’s Sons serving pork costoletta with prosciutto, parmesan, and arugula.

Guests can also expect Irish stout classics, nitro pours, whiskey cocktails, and plenty of inventive pork and plant-based bites throughout the neighborhood.
