Independence Seaport Museum to Host the Inaugural “Drink the Delaware” Festival Featuring Local Breweries, Cideries, & Distilleries
The Independence Seaport Museum will present the inaugural Drink the Delaware festival on Sunday, September 7th highlighting the connection between clean waterways and Philadelphia’s thriving beverage industry. The event takes place at 211 S. Christopher Columbus Blvd., with a VIP hour from 3 to 4 p.m. and general admission from 4 to 9 p.m.
Organizers say the festival is designed to deepen community awareness of the vital role waterways play in everything from environmental health to local food and drink. Guests will leave with both an appreciation of local craft beverages and a renewed understanding of why protecting the Delaware River is essential for the region’s future.
Hosted in collaboration with Home Brewed Events, the festival will feature samples from local breweries, cideries, distilleries, and more, alongside expert talks and interactive activities that emphasize the importance of clean waterways.
