Fine Palate is offering a pre Fixe Menu  at $60; $30 for the optional wine pairing.  Menu includes Butternut Squash Soup, Garden Salad,  Crown Roasted Turkey or Rack of Venison, and an assortment of desert options.

 

Sofitel Hotel

Chez Colette, a restaurant located in Sofitel Philadelphia, will be hosting a Thanksgiving buffet. The Thanksgiving buffet is $65 per person. This includes a complimentary glass of champagne. Children under 12 years old will enjoy the buffet at half price. The buffet includes a raw bar, appetizers, entrées, meat carvings, and desserts.

 

Red Owl Tavern

Red Owl Tavern’s new Executive Chef, Robert “Bobby” Surdam, will serve a 3-course Thanksgiving pre-fixe menu, including a choice of Autumn Salad or Pumpkin Bisque for the first course, a Turkey Dinner complete with Red Owl Stuffing, whipped potatoes, maple cornbread and pan gravy for the second course and Cinnamon Roll Apple Pie or Pepita Pot De Crème for dessert. The Thanksgiving meal is available for $55 from 12:30pm-8pm on Thursday, November 22nd. For those in charge of dessert this year, Red Owl Tavern is celebrating the giving season with Month of 1000 Pies. For every pie purchased, Red Owl Tavern will donate another pie to Philabundance. Apple and pumpkin pies are $15 for one and $25 for two and the team aims to donate 1,000 pies to the local organization looking to stamp out hunger in our community.

 

The Twisted Tail

The Twisted Tail, Headhouse Square’s southern-inspired restaurant, bar and live juke joint, will offer a family-style Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 10 pm on Thursday, November 22nd. Guests will choose from a selection of meats — roasted Lancaster turkey, herb-crusted prime rib, pineapple-glazed ham or honey bbq glazed salmon — as well as shared sides. For dessert, there will be mini pumpkin, apple and pecan pies. Dinner is $49/person; children younger than 10 can dine for $25. Those under 3, dine for free.

 

Square 1682

Square 1681 will offer a three-course prix-fixe Thanksgiving feast with a Caribbean flair from new Executive Chef, Mackenson Horebe. First course will be the guest’s choice of Beef Barley Soup, Butternut Squash Salad, Tuna Tartare or Sweet Plantains; while the second course includes Rittenhouse Thanksgiving, complete with roast turkey, whipped sweet potato, braised kale, cornbread stuffing, cranberry jam, gravy along with a Haitian Thanksgiving spread, boasting roasted pork shoulder, brown rice and beans, charred sweet peppers, pikliz, pork jus. For those looking for an alternative to the traditional Thanksgiving dinner, guests can also choose from Spaghetti Squash or a delicious Dorade Filet. Dessert is either a Pumpkin Panna Cotta or Dutch Apple Pie. The prix-fixe is available from 4pm-9pm on Thanksgiving for $60/person.

 

CO-OP

CO-OP, The Study Hotel’s bustling restaurant and lounge on the corner of 33rd and Chestnut Sts., is hosting the ultimate Friends-giving on Thursday, November 22nd. Guests are encouraged to bring three friends and enjoy a traditional turkey dinner, complete with stuffing, cranberries, and mashed potatoes. This dinner for four includes a bottle of wine and will be available on Thanksgiving for $100.

 

Urban Farmer

1850 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy.

For those looking to avoid doing dishes all together, Urban Farmer will offer guests the opportunity to enjoy a specially-prepared Thanksgiving Menu from Executive Chef Seth Pettit, available for $75 per person, 4-9 pm on Thanksgiving; half-priced for children 12 and under. Choices from first course options include Blue Hubbard and Apple Bisque and Crispy Potato Gnocchi. Entree options include a Pennsylvania Raised Turkey as well as a Herb and Mushroom Crusted Prime Rib with horseradish crème fraiche. Sides will be served family style and will please even the most discerning family member— Cornbread Turkey Stuffing, Red Bliss Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Fall Squash and more. Dessert will include choices of classic Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Bourbon Cheesecake and Chocolate Pecan Tart.

 

Dim Sum House

Dim Sum House opens with full menu of two types of all-day dim sum and full bar at 12:00pm through 8:00pm in University City. Dim Sum House by Jane G’s in University City will feature a full menu for a memorable Thanksgiving Dinner plus special menu additions including seafood dishes from the fresh and salt seafood tank including the giant Norwegian Whole King Crab that feeds 6 to 12 people and is only available in this area at Dim Sum House. With five dining spaces, a lounge and full bar there are spaces for large families and groups of friends from 2 to 4 to 20+.

King Crab done Three Ways: Norwegian Whole King Crab

1. Ginger scallion steamed style – Steamed King Crab with a light drizzle of soy base sauce with a hint of ginger and scallion. This style focuses on the naturally sweet and succulent taste of the crab.

2. Mince Pork with XO sauce – The crab is lightly breaded, flash fry, and then finished in the wok with the minced pork and XO sauce. XO sauce is a caramelized slice garlic and minced pork which give it a slightly sweet taste.

3.Salt and Pepper Style –  Lightly bread crab flash fry and stir fry in a wok with a very light white sauce with slice jalapenos and bell pepper on a bed of shredded lettuce.

 

Smokin’ Betty’s

Smokin’ Betty’s in Midtown Village will open for its first Thanksgiving Dinner. Guests will enjoy a full three-course dinner – with dine-in, take-out and delivery options – plus the bar will be open. Catering pick-up and delivery starting at 11:00 am.  Dinner service is from 2:00 pm- 8:00pm, and the bar will be open until 10:00 pm.
Enjoy a feast of comfort food and holiday favorites like Mom used to make, including Butternut Squash Soup, Homemade Chicken Noodle, Sweet Potato Gratin, Macaroni and Cheese, Fresh Roasted Turkey, Honey-Bourbon Baked Ham, Corn Bread Muffins, Pumpkin Pie, Apple Pie, Bread Pudding and other scrumptious selections. Devil‘s Alley will present their annual tradition of Mama Devil‘s Holiday Dinner on Thanksgiving. They will be open and serving up a full three-course dinner – with dine-in, take-out and delivery options – plus the bar will be open. Catering pick-up and delivery starting at 11:00 am.  Dinner service is from 2:00 pm- 8:00pm, and the bar will be open until 10:00 pm.
