Twisted Tail’s 11th Annual Whiskey Bonanza Will Feature a Pig Roast, Live Jazz, a Cigar Lounge, and Plenty of Whiskey
On Thursday, September 25th, the clink of glasses and the hum of live blues will fill Headhouse Square as The Twisted Tail hosts its 11th Annual Whiskey Bonanza. From 7 to 10 p.m.—or 6 p.m. for those with VIP tickets—the Southern-inspired restaurant and bar will transform into a whiskey lover’s paradise, offering more than 100 varieties to sip, sample, and savor.
This spirited celebration of Bourbon Heritage Month is more than just a tasting. Guests can wander between distillery tables, chat with reps, and take part in a friendly cocktail competition where some of Philly’s top bartenders will create original whiskey-based drinks. Attendees vote for their favorite, ensuring bragging rights for the winning mixologist.
The night’s flavors extend beyond the glass. Deke’s BBQ will be on-site serving smoky, slow-cooked bites, and The Twisted Tail’s signature southern pig roast will be featured during the VIP hour. Reverend Chris will keep the atmosphere lively with New Orleans-style jazz and blues piano, while outside, a revamped Airstream will serve as a cigar lounge for those who like their whiskey with a side of smoke.
VIP guests enjoy early access to rare pours and extra time with distillers, plus the first crack at the pig roast. General admission ticket holders will still find plenty to enjoy with two full floors of whiskey, music, and food available all night.
