The 3rd Annual Outdoor Art Soiree – Art Under the Stars Will Feature Visual Artists, DJs, Live Music, Cocktails, and Food Vendors
Art Under the Stars is back for its third year, transforming The Sculpture Courtyard at 1717 N. Hancock Street into an open-air celebration of art, music, and summer energy. On Saturday, August 16, from 5 to 10 p.m., guests will gather under the evening sky to explore works from talented visual artists, connect with the creative community, and enjoy a night that blends culture with good food and live entertainment.
This annual summer art soirée brings together artists from Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware, and the DMV region, offering an eclectic mix of styles and mediums. More than 10 visual artists will showcase their work, from bold contemporary paintings to intricate prints, with many pieces available for purchase. Attendees can meet the artists, hear the stories behind their work, and perhaps even leave with a new piece for their collection.
The evening’s soundtrack will be provided by DJs Brotha Taaj and DJ YNGFU, paired with Dahi Divine’s live band for a seamless blend of 90s grooves, modern beats, and jazz-infused improvisations. The music sets the tone for an event that feels as much like a neighborhood block party as it does a curated art show.
Mr. D’s Homestyle Cooking will serve soul food and fresh-off-the-grill BBQ, while Cloud Cups Gelato will offer a sweet finish to the night. A cash bar with summer cocktails—priced to be as friendly as the atmosphere—will keep the conversations flowing.
From live painting demonstrations to the warm buzz of community mingling, Art Under the Stars is more than an art show. It’s a gathering that uplifts living artists, fosters connection, and invites everyone to be part of Philadelphia’s vibrant creative scene.
Tickets are available through Eventbrite. Whether you’re an art collector, a music lover, or simply looking for a beautiful way to spend a summer evening, this event offers the perfect mix of culture, flavor, and atmosphere—set beneath the stars.
