The Reading Terminal Market is Hosting a Food Photography Workshop to Help Take Your Foodie Pics to the Next Level

Are you a foodie looking to elevate your photography? Perhaps to improve your social media content or perhaps you own a restaurant and want to attract more customers.  Whatever your reason may be, the City Kitchen at the Reading Terminal Market will be hosting a food photography workshop on Friday June 28th from 6 pm to 8 pm.

The event will be curated by The Philly Connective which is a new online platform that is free to join and helps to connect creatives and influencers with freelance opportunities. The workshop will be spearheaded by Paolo Jay Agbay who has made a name for himself in the food photography space with placements in publications such as Eater, The New York Times, and Philadelphia Magazine. Paolo was also recognized by DiversifyPhoto as an “Up Next” photographer.

During the workshop attendees will learn about navigating the food photography scene from Paolo’s own experience as well as techniques including how to use lighting, technical cameral work, best practices for settings, as well as editing tips and tricks. Several vendors at the market will be donating dishes to be used, so everything will be hands-on.

This class is open to all skill levels, so whether you have a DSLR or smartphone, you’ll leave this workshop with a better understanding of the art of food photography.

Tickets to this event are $15 and are available here.

Those looking to sign up and create a profile on Philly Connective can do so at no cost. There will be monthly workshop for both creatives and influencers to elevate their brand which will include videography, client retainers, taxes, marketing, and much more.
