Philadelphia Zoo is bringing the Zoo to you! As people around the world get used to staying home and practicing social distancing, Philadelphia Zoo launches the first of a series of their online virtual zoo to keep children and families engaged during this challenging time. Starting today, at 2:00pm, look for the debut of the new Facebook Live series Philly Zoo at 2 on Philadelphia Zoo Facebook’s page. Visit Philadelphia Zoo on Facebook and turn up the volume as Philadelphia Zoo brings you up close and personal with Zoo animals during this daily behind the scenes educational series. Philadelphia Zoo’s Director of Educational Programs Dani Hogan will host this on-going weekday series, which will also feature special guests and Zoo keepers sharing their expertise around Philadelphia Zoo.

Philly Zoo at 2 debuts today at 2:00pm with the very first episode of their virtual zoo via Facebook Live. Tune in today for Breezy the Goat’s Birthday Celebration. Tomorrow, on Friday, March 20, 2020, tune in for Philly Zoo at 2 for World Frog Day from KidZooU. Future animals that will be spotlighted will include lions, tigers, giraffes, hedgehogs, rhino, red pandas, red tail hawks, and more.

Philly Zoo at 2 will also be one of the main places Philadelphia Zoo will start to share information and introduce brand new spring babies.

Tune in to Philly Zoo at 2 to write in and ask questions about your favorite animal.

Philly Zoo at 2 is just one of the ways Philadelphia Zoo will bring the animals to you. Stay tuned for more program announcements in the next few days.
