On Saturday, November 19th all dogs’ fees will be waived at the PSPCA’s Philadelphia headquarters (350 Erie Avenue), in an effort to help clear the shelter, and find homes for amazing pups. The Pennsylvania SPCA is hosting The Home for the Howlidays from 12 pm -6:30pm.
The PSPCA’s Philadelphia headquarters is currently full of amazing adoptable dogs, all of whom are hoping to share their love with a forever family this holiday season and always. No matter what kind of pup a family or individual is looking for, the PSPCA can help match them with their new best friend.
Adoptions at the PSPCA, shelters in the area and around the country have been very slow. Dogs that would normally be adopted quickly are having longer lengths of stay, but are so deserving of families. At the same time, shelters are seeing an uptick in owner surrender requests.
With this adoption event, the PSPCA is hoping to find homes for many dogs, and to open up space to help those that will take their place.
On this fee-waived adoption day, all normal adoption processes and policies will be followed. For more information on those policies and procedures: pspca.org/adoption-process.
