The Navy Yard Will Host “The Parking Lot Social” a Mix of Concerts, Drive-In Movies and Car Karaoke!
So with everything pretty much canceled in the city for the rest of the year, is it possible to be apart of a large public gathering and still maintain social distancing? Well, a traveling event dubbed “The Parking Lot Social” believes so. The Parking Lot Social is making its rounds across the U.S and is slated to be held at The Navy Yard July 22nd-26th.
You probably already seen their ads on social media which gives off the classic drive-in vibes mixed with a party atmosphere. The Parking Lot Social’s website states, “An experience which packs a bunch of exciting entertainment into one incredible night out. We’ve created a spectacular event space and overloaded it with a program of immersive and interactive entertainment that’s broadcast from our stage straight to your car, allowing us all to come together, while still keeping us that safe distance apart.“

Live Bands– A gig with a difference. From our stage, direct to your car get that live music fix you’ve been missing.
Silent Disco– Using wireless headphone technology we’re throwing a massive silent disco in the parking lot.
Car-A-Oke-A live-band, two giant screens, and the star of the show…YOU! A mass sing-a-long from the comfort of your car.
Bingo-Not your grandma’s bingo! There will be numbers called and prizes won but get ready for our unique twist on the theme.
Social Kids-Fun for the whole family? Grab a ticket for our daytime special, ‘SocialKids’ for a fun, interactive family experience
Comedy-Check out our dedicated comedy night with stand-up, variety and anything else that makes you LOL in your car.
Movies-From family friendly blockbusters to cult classics, look out for dedicated movie nights at select venues
