Walking the plank might be good enough for other ships, but not for The Deck at the Moshulu.
Beginning Saturday, June 16, The Deck will feature an aerialist performer from The Philadelphia School of Circus Arts who will perform 30 feet in the air on a wire that will be rigged between the ship’s masts.
The aerialist, who will be dressed as a mermaid, will perform Saturday evenings from 11pm to 1am. Each performance will be 20 minutes long where she will twist, spin and flip to the live DJs music. The performances are free to all who are aboard The Deck.
The Deck at the Moshulu opened for its second season May 17, 2018 offering dining, drinking and special events aboard the decks atop the Moshulu, Philadelphia’s tall ship and the only restaurant on a tall ship in the world.
Located on Penn’s Landing, The Deck at the Moshulu offers spectacular views of the river, the city skyline and of course the Ben Franklin Bridge.
The Deck returns this season with favorites from last year such as our Wine Pops and has added several new cocktails this season sure to be the talk, taste and photo of the town! Additionally, The Deck will be open weekdays at 3pm and offer a small plates menu until closing.
The Deck offers happy hour Monday through Friday from 5pm to 7pm. Executive Chef Anthony Bonett has created a menu of items perfect for sharing including hand-rolled sushi, poke, the city’s best 10 Oz prime burger and ribeye French Dip.
The Deck features weekly activities such as yoga, boot camp, boxing, craft events, fashion shows, pop-up shops, late night DJ parties and more!
