The Ground is Hosting a Month-Long Pop-Up at BOTLD, Turning It Into a Café Oasis Featuring Select Drinks and Pastries
The Ground team behind two of Philadelphia’s most beloved coffee destinations – The Ground Rittenhouse (Rittenhouse Square) and The Ground Coffee, Plants & Gifts (Norris Square) – is bringing their vibrant café experience to BOTLD Midtown craft spirits shop and cocktail bar (117 South 13th Street) for a month-long, summer residency July 28 – September 1.
The Ground at BOTLD Midtown will be open 7 days a week offering a menu of all iced beverages and classic French pastries for dine-in or takeaway. Each morning, BOTLD Midtown will transform into a café oasis with The Ground serving their expertly-brewed beverages including Matcha and Espresso Lattes (prepared with seasonal and classic syrups: rose pistachio and cinnamon toast crunch), Cold Brew (with choice of housemade foam toppers including orange creamsicle, strawberry and chocolate), a selection of pastries (almond croissants, vanilla-filled beignets, coffee cake and more) and display a wide selection of potted plants for purchase.
The Ground and BOTLD collaborated on a lineup of cocktails including “Rose-Hey” (Pa’lante Botanical Rum, Lemon Juice, Pistachio Syrup, Rose Syrup, Orange Bitters), “Yuz Too Matcha” (St. George Valley Gin, Fast Penny Americano Bianca, Yuzu Syrup, Matcha) and an on-tap cocktail “Caffeine Rush” (J. Rieger Vodka, J. Rieger Caffe Amaro, Demerara Syrup, Cold Brew Coffee, with an optional add on of The Ground’s Creamsicle Cold Foam) utilizing BOTLD’s craft spirits. Guests can enjoy BOTLD Midtown’s amble booth, table and bar seating and shop from their lineup of nearly 100 discoverable craft spirits throughout the residency. BOTLD Midtown and The Ground’s two cafés will continue to operate with their regular hours.
