The Franklin Institute is Now Selling Tickets to Their Upcoming Harry Potter Exhibition

The Franklin Institute is gearing up to what they believe will be their biggest exhibit yet, The Harry Potter Exhibition.  Slated to open February 18th, 2022, the exhibit will let visitors get an up-close look at authentic props and original costumes from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts™ films as they engage with “innovative, awe-inspiring, and magical environments and installations in this: the most comprehensive touring exhibition ever presented about the Wizarding World,” Franklin Institute states.

This groundbreaking exhibition will celebrate the iconic moments, characters, settings, and beasts as seen in the films and stories of Harry Potter and the Wizarding World using best-in-class immersive design and technology. From the mysteries of Hogwarts™ castle to the antics of its mischievous yet brilliant students; from daring duels to dragons and Dark Arts; from glittering Gringotts™ to the magnificent Ministry of Magic – the exhibition will bring magic to life, connect visitors with the larger global community of fans of the Wizarding World, and reveal the artistry and craftsmanship behind the blockbuster films.

To gear up for the opening Franklin Institute will be placing large Harry Potter themed sculptures around the region with QR codes.  When fans scan the code they will be able to participate in VR games through their phones and have an opportunity to catch “a golden snitch” as it will appear on their phones.  Those able to catch a golden snitch will be entered to win prizes including a chance to win free tickets to the Harry Potter Exhibition.  Tickets to the exhibition range from $43 for adults and $39 for children during the daytime while evening access will run $30 for both adults and children in the evening.  VIP passes which include immediate-access pass, exclusive exhibition lanyard, and a discount on an audio tour and photo op. will run $59. As of today the Franklin Institute has reportedly sold over 20,000 tickets since they went on sale. Tickets can be purchased here.
