The Temple Alumni Tent is Raising the Tailgating Bar
You may remember our article previewing the all-new Temple Alumni Tent that was set to make its debut for the 2016 season. Well we finally got around to checking it out for ourselves and we have to say it’s a must visit spot. If you’re a graduate of Temple University and are looking to root for the cherry & white as they fight for another bowl game this year, you have to stop by the tent.
Director of Alumni Affairs, Eliza Stasi spearheaded the conception of the Alumni Tent which features live bands, rotating food trucks (all owned by Temple alumni), free drink tickets, artificial grass with lawn games and plenty of break out space to mingle with fellow alumni. The vibe is great and you never know who you might run into. Graduates spanning decades sharing stories is what it’s all about. However, this tailgating experience isn’t relegated to just home games, Eliza also plans to organize trips to all of the away games which will includes tailgating at the opponents stadiums.
Coming off one of its best years in Temple Football history, the fan base has swelled and the experience of a Temple game has gone from a mediocre vibe to a full on party that we’ve been longing to have. Check out our video recap above to see just what the Temple Alumni Tent has to offer!
