SWEAT Fitness, Philadelphia’s premier fitness club with eight convenient locations throughout the region, and City Tap House University City, Philadelphia’s renowned craft beer restaurant, are partnering once again for their über-popular FREE outdoor summer fitness pop-up series – SWEAT + SIP.

The classes will be offered 10am-11am every Sunday (starting this Sunday, June 11) through August 27th on City Tap House’s expansive outdoor patio. And the best part? Participants will be rewarded for their sweat sessions with a complimentary brunch beverage.

“We are in that time of year when everyone is thinking about their beach body,” said Tracy Shannon, SWEAT Fitness President. “This is a wonderful way to keep working hard through the summer months – but outdoors with friends and brunch!”

City Tap House’s brunch begins every Sunday at 11am and will boast their signature brunch cocktail — a Beermosa, with Allagash White, St. Germaine Elderflower Liquor, Champagne and orange juice ($9). Guests can pair the signature cocktail with brunch favorites such as their renowned Chicken & Waffles – fried chicken, buttermilk waffle, honey-thyme butter, molasses syrup, and red pepper jam ($19) Braised Bacon Benedict – house-made biscuits, maple glazed pork belly, smoked paprika hollandaise, poached eggs, breakfast potatoes ($15). The Avocado & Grapefruit Salad with young arugula, avocado, grapefruit, feta, sweet almonds, and ruby-red honey vinaigrette ($12) is the perfect post-workout summer dish!

The class schedule will boast a wide variety of classes – from outdoor Barre and outdoor Kickboxing to SWEATX – a dynamic, small group-training program designed to take athletic training to the next level.

SWEAT Fitness offers more than 225 group fitness classes each week from Yoga, Barre, Cycling, and more! They are taught by Philadelphia’s best instructors including industry vet, Donna Storm who has been working in fitness for 35 years!
