Stratus Rooftop Lounge Announced They Have Reopened to the Public

For the first time in almost a year, Stratus Rooftop Lounge, the swanky rooftop venue on the 11^th floor of the Kimpton Hotel Monaco in Old City, is once again open to the public.

Guests can expect a robust line up of DJs, live music, a new cocktail menu courtesy of Lead Bartender Christopher Devern, and small bites and hors d’oeuvres from Chef Jonathan Dearden. The recently renovated indoor/outdoor venue featuring two private pavilions (Mist and Vapor) is freshly fitted with posh booth-style seating, an illuminating, expansive bar, contemporary light fixtures, and a lush “green wall” encompassing the lounge, adding to a thoroughly modern, sexy scene.

“We’re thrilled to be back open, and we can’t wait to welcome in neighbors and friends, as well as new guests back to Stratus,” said Daniel Olivet, General Manager of Stratus Rooftop Lounge. “The fall season is some of the best weather in Philadelphia. It really is the best time to enjoy Stratus.”

Some of the well-crafted creations on Devern’s cocktail menu include Midnight Spritz, composed of pea flower-infused tequila, cassis, lime, and ginger beer, as well as Summer Love Spritz, crafted with gin, rosemary, strawberry, honey, and aromatic tonic. Available for sipping alongside exclusive wines, craft beer, and spirits, in addition to an evolving menu of light fare for snacking.

Current hours of operation are Thursday from 5 pm – 12 am, Friday from 7 pm – 2 am, and Saturday from 8 pm – 2 am. Expect Wednesday night service to be added soon. Walk-ins are welcome, and reservations for parties 20 or less may be booked in advance by visiting Stratus Rooftop Lounge’s website.
