The South Street Headhouse District will celebrate the longest day of the year with its 3rd Annual Summer Solstice Festival on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. along South 4th Street between Lombard and Catharine Streets in the heart of the historic Fabric Row corridor.

Known for its rich history as a destination for fashion, textiles, creativity, and independent businesses, Fabric Row will transform into a vibrant outdoor festival celebrating Philly’s  thriving arts and culture scene. The free event will feature local shopping, live music, art experiences, food and drink vendors, interactive activities, workshops, and family-friendly entertainment throughout the day.

“Summer Solstice Festival is a celebration of everything that makes South Street and Fabric Row unique,” said Eleanor Ingersoll, Executive Director of the South Street Headhouse District. “From independent retailers and artists to local musicians and food vendors, this event showcases the creativity and community spirit that have defined this neighborhood for generations.”

Visitors will have the opportunity to shop from some of South Street’s most beloved businesses and retailers, including Stitch & Destroy, South Street Art Mart, Everland, B-Bop Vintage, Urban Princess Boutique, Juju Salon & Organics, Sweet Peel Vintage, Moon + Arrow, At My House, Fleishman’s Fabrics, and Baldwin Fine Custom Tailoring among others.

The festival will also feature a variety of art, activity, and community engagement stations hosted by local organizations and creatives, including Queen Village Bicycles, Approved Textiles, Grand Souk Co., Brooke Lanier Fine Art, Hair Story, and additional partners throughout the corridor.

Food and beverage offerings will be available from neighborhood favorites including Puyero, Queen Village Food Market, BeerLOVE, Fitz on 4th, and Ace Outpost, giving attendees plenty of opportunities to enjoy local flavors while exploring the festival.

Live music will fill the streets throughout the day, with performances on the Gaskill Street stage sponsored by MilkBoy, featuring Miss Olivia, DJ Smoove, and Tell All Your Friends.

The Summer Solstice Festival has quickly become one of the district’s signature seasonal events, drawing visitors from across the city to experience the unique character of Fabric Row and support local artists, makers, musicians, and small businesses.

Whether you’re looking to shop, dance, create, eat, or simply enjoy a beautiful summer day outdoors, the South Street Summer Solstice Festival offers something for everyone.
