Soul Sessions Returns to Fringe Bar With a Live Tribute to Stevie Wonder Featuring Philly Vocalists and Soulful Covers
Philly’s hottest new live music series Soul Sessions Presents: Tribute – Stevie Wonder is returning to Fringe Bar for another evening celebrating one of music’s greatest legends.
Taking place on Wednesday, May 20, the latest installment of the Soul Sessions series will pay tribute to Stevie Wonder with live performances of some of his most iconic songs performed by a lineup of Philadelphia vocalists and musicians.
Doors open at 7 p.m., with the first set beginning at 8 p.m.
Led by musician Luke Carlos O’Reilly and hosted by Jay the Gentleman, the recurring Soul Sessions series has become known for its intimate atmosphere, powerhouse vocals, and live reinterpretations of legendary artists and genres.
This edition will spotlight the timeless catalog of Stevie Wonder, whose music spans soul, funk, R&B, jazz, and pop classics.
Featured vocalists for the evening include:
- KJ McNeill
- Naeemah Harper
- Lawrence ‘Weas’ Newton
Guests can expect live renditions of Stevie Wonder favorites delivered with the signature energy and musicianship that has made Soul Sessions a staple in Philadelphia’s live music scene.
Table reservations are available through Fringe Bar’s website, though organizers note that reservations do not include admission to the show. Guests must still purchase event tickets separately.
