Saquon Barkley to Host Inaugural “Hurdles for Hope” Gala at the Philadelphia Museum of Art With Live Entertainment and Silent Auction

Philadelphia Eagles star and Super Bowl Champion Saquon Barkley is stepping off the field and into the community spotlight this fall as he and his family host the inaugural Hurdles for Hope Gala on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The event, presented by The Michael Ann & Saquon Barkley Hope Foundation, promises to be an inspiring evening of elegance, purpose, and impact — uniting athletes, philanthropists, and community leaders for a shared cause: empowering youth and families in need. Tickets are available now at tixr.com.

Guests can expect a black-tie evening of fine dining, live entertainment, and a silent auction, all set within one of Philadelphia’s most iconic cultural landmarks. The Gala’s goal is as ambitious as its mission — to raise $250,000 in support of programs that strengthen communities and expand opportunities for under-resourced youth across the region.

Funds from the event will support the Foundation’s three key initiatives:

  • Community grants for organizations serving underprivileged families.

  • Scholarships for female student-athletes pursuing higher education.

  • Long-term social impact investments, such as recreational facilities and shelters that promote safety, stability, and success.

“For me, this is personal,” said Saquon Barkley. “Football has given me a platform, and I want to use it to give back. The Hurdles for Hope Gala is about turning blessings into opportunities and helping the next generation overcome obstacles in their way.”

The Foundation, founded in 2020 and named in honor of Barkley’s grandmother, Michael Ann Barkley, is a family-led initiative focused on unity, empowerment, and service. In recent years, the Barkleys have launched youth sports camps, scholarship programs, school partnerships, backpack drives, and holiday giveaways, building a legacy of hope that stretches beyond the football field.

“The Hurdles for Hope Gala isn’t just about fundraising — it’s about reminding people that every challenge can be overcome,” Barkley added. “We’re building something bigger than ourselves. Together, we can transform lives, strengthen communities, and give hope to families who need it most.”

With its mix of star power, community focus, and heartfelt mission, the Hurdles for Hope Gala is poised to become one of Philadelphia’s signature philanthropic events — a night where sports, service, and spirit unite to make a lasting impact.
