When one discusses the Philly by way of DC clothing brand RiverIsWild, a term used by legendary Brooklyn rapper AZ comes to mind: Rather Unique. RIW has always brought something new and innovative with their aesthetic; The free spirit that fuels the collective can be seen in every design and felt in every piece of clothing. RIW’s Head Designer Wale Akinbiyi said, “[The] current capsule was inspired by shapes I saw growing up watching TV in Nigeria, the graphic design on those stations really resonated with me”.
