Pizzadelphia is the Biggest Pizza Festival in the Region and It’s Going Down This Weekend!
It’s not a matter of who likes pizza but how much do you love pizza. If the answer is “a lot,” then this weekend will be heaven on earth. On June 15th the region’s largest piazza festival will take place at the Naval Yard from 12-4 pm. Pizzadelphia will take place over 6 sprawling acres featuring many of the area’s most iconic pizza shops.
Located smack dab in the middle of the Pizza belt, Philadelphian’s know a good pie when they taste one and luckily for us there are some great pizza to be had in the area. So who has the best pies? Well that’s for you to decide. Pizzadelphia will feature popular pizzaa shops including Tacconelli’s, Santucci’s, Blackbird, Pizza Brain, LaScala, Sputino’s, Rione, Porta, Bardea as well as many others. Everything from thing crust, to Chicago style, to wood fire and everything in-between will be available to scarf down.
General admission is $40 while kids 12 and younger can attend for $22 and both offer an all-you-can-eat experience. VIP tickets are $100 and includes early entry as well as a hands on pizza making class with Pizza Brain’s Joe Hunter & In Riva’s Arthur Cavaliere.
In addition to some of the best pizzas, Pizzadelphia will also feature drinks from some of your favorite watering-holes as well as a line-up of DJs to keep the party rocking. See the full list of participants below.
