Philly Otaku Fest Returns for Three Days of Anime Culture With 75+ Vendors, Entertainment, a Cosplay Runway, and More
Anime, manga, and pop culture fans are gearing up for a full weekend of creativity and community as Philly Otaku Fest returns to Cherry Street Pier from April 10–12, 2026.
What started as a niche gathering has grown into one of the city’s most vibrant celebrations of otaku culture—bringing together artists, performers, and fans for three days of cosplay, shopping, and live entertainment along the waterfront.
Organizers say this year’s festival reflects the growth of Philly’s otaku community, with more creators and fans stepping up to contribute to the experience.
From anime and manga to J-fashion and cosplay, the event is designed to be an inclusive space where attendees can connect, express themselves, and celebrate shared interests.
Each day of the festival features a lineup of performances, showcases, and interactive events:
Friday, April 10 (4:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.)
