Philadelphia Film Society is Celebrating Their 20th Anniversary With Two New Curated Film Series!
The Philadelphia Film Society (PFS) is excited to announce the launch of two new curated film series coming to the PFS Drive-In at the Navy Yard and the Philadelphia Film Center. The 20th Anniversary Series at the Drive-In will run July through the Fall and the Blockbusters in 4K Series will continue throughout the summer at the Film Center.
In honor of the Philadelphia Film Society’s 20th Anniversary, PFS is celebrating films that debuted on the big screen in 2001, and have entertained audiences for two decades, with the 20th Anniversary Series at the Drive-In. Tickets are currently on sale for the July line-up which includes: LEGALLY BLONDE, JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS, and THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING.
PFS invites the cinephiles to revisit films that keep us on the edge of our seats with the Blockbusters in 4K series at the Philadelphia Film Center. All films in this series will be presented in stunning 4K on the largest screen in Center City. Tickets are currently on sale for the first collection of remastered films which includes: RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM, and INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE. PFS is thrilled to have audiences return to the Film Center with a slate of both nostalgic and newly released films as well as an always operating bar/cafe that features a curated beer list, a selection of red and white wines, and film themed specialty cocktails.
