Local Bakery is Hosting a Champagne Bread Party This NYE!
Picture this: it’s 11:59 pm on December 31, and to celebrate the new year, you cheers with Champagne…Bread?
That’s right!
Philly-based Baker Street Bread Company, one of America’s premier artisan bread purveyors, is celebrating the new year with a limited number of specialty breads baked with, you guessed it, Champagne.
On Sunday, December 30 and Monday, December 31, bread and Champagne lovers alike can head to Baker Street Bread Co.’s café on Germantown Ave. in Chestnut Hill for one of these exclusive breads boasting Champagne, orange zest and orange juice. These loaves can (and should) be paired with a glass of Champagne on New Year’s Eve or even a mimosa on New Year’s Day.
Only 30 loaves will be baked. Each loaf will cost $8.95.
The café is open from 7 am – 5 pm on Sunday and 7 am – 6 pm on Monday.
