Philly’s dessert scene is about to get a whole lot sweeter. The inaugural Philly Cookie Fest will take over the Bok Building (9th & Mifflin Streets) on December 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. — marking the city’s first-ever festival dedicated entirely to cookies, desserts, and local bakers.

Created by Loc V. Pham, chef and owner of The Philly Cookie Company, who wanted to highlight local talent after vending at an out-of-town festival dominated by non-local businesses, Philly Cookie Fest is designed as a true celebration “for the Philly people, by the Philly people.” The event will feature 30+ local vendors, cookie-inspired activities, live entertainment, and family-friendly fun throughout the day.

From classic chocolate chip to creative flavor mashups, cookie lovers can look forward to sampling and shopping from a diverse lineup of local bakeries, small businesses, and artisan vendors. Guests will find everything from soft-baked and chewy cookies to vegan, gluten-free, and holiday-themed creations — alongside coffee, lemonade, and other sweet treats to pair with their purchases. Tickers are on sale now on Eventbrite

Participating vendors include:
Care Package Bakes, All Cookied Out, Earth’s Kitchen & Coffee, Sweet Delights, Lil Dippers Co, Ellie & Bird Coffee Bar, Dirty Dough, Grippy’s Cookie Co., Crispy Chewy Crunchy Gooey, BathKafe Soap, Waffles & Wine Art Show, Ms. Janyne’s Gently Squeezed Lemonade, After the Unknown, Cookie Vibes Cookies, Commonwealth Charter Academy (CCA), Isgro Pastries, JerBears Bakehouse, Hank’s Bubble Tea, Killer Sweets, Honey Sprout Baked Goods, and Unleashed Cookies — among others.

Philly Cookie Fest isn’t just about eating (though there’ll be plenty of that). Guests can also take part in an array of interactive and festive activities, including:

  • Cookie Decorating – Led by Moon Four Bake Shop and Design Gym

  • Cookie Eating Contest – A crowd-favorite competition for the city’s hungriest cookie fans

  • Cookie Cornhole Station – A fun twist on a backyard classic

  • Children’s Activity Booth – Presented by The Mendoza Group

  • Coloring Station – Perfect for younger guests and budding artists

  • Holiday Photo Booth – Hosted by CK Events, complete with festive backdrops

  • Cookie Exchange Booth – Presented by the Juvenile Law Center

  • Live DJs – Spinning upbeat tracks and holiday tunes all day

Loc states that the event aims to create “a festive, welcoming space that combines Philly’s community spirit, small-business energy, and holiday magic all under one roof.”

What started as one local vendor’s idea to spotlight Philly bakers has now become a full-scale celebration of the city’s dessert and creative community.

“After vending at Panda Fest and seeing so many vendors from New York, I wanted to do something that celebrated our people,” said the event’s founder. “Philly has incredible bakers and small businesses that deserve the spotlight. This festival is all about community, creativity, and, of course, cookies,” Pham added.
