GUSTO is Hosting A Four Course Bad Bunny Brunch to Raise Money For a Great Cause

This past Labor Day Weekend Bad Bunny Stole the show at Made in America.  The Puerto Rican singer drew crowds from all over the country to get a glimpse of the singer who’s recent tour had 21 sold out shows in 15 cities.

Now, a local organization is celebrating the global icon with a special brunch to raise money for a great cause. GUSTO returns for the third installment of Bad Bunny Brunch on Sunday November 6th. Guests will get to choose either an 11 am-12:30 pm reservation or 1 pm -2:30 pm time slot.

GUSTO is hosting the event at Taller Puertorriqueño (2600 N 5th St.) – the cultural heart of Latino Philadelphia – and will be collecting cash donations for Taller Puertorriqueño’s Fiona Relief Fund, which supports a variety of community-based organizations on the island providing services to those in need on the ground.

Guests will enjoy a family-style, four-course brunch provided by La Chingonita.El Merkury, who hosted the first Bad Bunny Brunch at its Rittenhouse location, will also provide guests with a churro special. The event is BYOB but guests can enjoy a complimentary welcome cocktail and Bean2Bean Coffee. Bean2Bean’s exclusive Pumpkin Coffee Coquito will debut at the event. Tickets are sold by tables and two seatings.

DJ Sedosa will be returning as well to provide all of the Bad Bunny hits. During brunch, guests will have access to the Julia de Burgos Gift Shop and Taller’s art gallery with its newly opened exhibit featuring 19 Puerto Rican artists. Tickets are available here.

GUSTO is an effort focused on contributing to projects addressing the long-term needs of Puerto Rico as a result of the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Maria. They support grassroots organizations on the front line working to empower communities to rebuild the island. GUSTO is a collaborative initiative by Marangeli Mejia-Rabell of AfroTaino Productions and Amy Rivera Nassar of Amy’s Pastelillos.
