Grab Your Pooch: Fetch Park Is Opening in Manayunk, Featuring a Doggy Ice Cream Parlor and Dog Park Bar

Philadelphia’s dog community has a new reason to wag their tails — Fetch Park, the innovative dog park bar concept, is officially opening its gates in Manayunk on Thursday, November 6. Located at 3720 Main Street, the new destination blends a community gathering space with a fully equipped dog park, complete with craft drinks, comfort food, and now — a dog-exclusive ice cream experience.

Fetch Park offers a mud-free, off-leash play space for dogs of all sizes, monitored by on-site Woof Wardens to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. The park’s Philadelphia debut expands the brand’s growing footprint across the country, combining southern-inspired hospitality with an atmosphere designed for both pups and their humans.

The indoor café and bar will feature a southern-inspired menu, craft cocktails, and specialty coffee, while the outdoor space will host a regular calendar of events — from dog socials to themed parties.

The Manayunk location introduces a first-of-its-kind feature: a Doggy Ice Cream Parlor, created in partnership with Dogsters® Ice Cream Style Treats from J&J Snack Foods. Inspired by a vintage diner motif, the parlor lets dogs enjoy their own frozen treats while their owners snack on J&J’s beloved classics.

“We’re thrilled to officially make Fetch happen in Philadelphia and introduce something truly special with our friends at Dogsters in a way that pays homage to the original diner that once stood here,” said Stephen Ochs, Founder and CEO of Fetch Park. “Our mission has always been to create the happiest place people experience in their day, where dogs can play and people can connect. We can’t wait for Philly pups, their humans, and the local community to experience Fetch.”

Dogsters®, known for their creamy, dog-safe treats, have previously collaborated with Fetch Park in Georgia. This marks the brand’s first expansion into the Philadelphia region and their first-ever experiential location.

“The Dogsters brand is about treating your best friend, and the new Doggy Ice Cream Parlor at Fetch Park in Philly is the perfect place to do just that,” said Lynwood Mallard, Chief Marketing Officer at J&J Snack Foods.

Fetch Park’s grand opening celebration will run from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, and will feature:

  • 2:10 p.m. – Ribbon Cutting & “First Scoop” Ceremony

  • 3:00–4:00 p.m. – Meet Tugger, a service dog in training with Warrior Canine Connection

  • 5:00–6:00 p.m. – “Training Tricks & Tips” Session with Vinnie Somma of Say It Once Dog Training

The event will also include live milkshake demonstrations, free Dogsters® samples, giveaways, and a photo experience for dogs and their owners.

Membership and Access

Admission is free for humans, whether or not they bring a dog. Pup access is available through daily, monthly, or annual memberships, with staff ensuring vaccinations and safety requirements are met before entry.

Fetch Park’s opening marks a major milestone for Philadelphia’s growing pet-friendly culture, offering a one-of-a-kind space that celebrates community, connection, and canine companionship — all in one playful package.
