If you’re a fan of ciders then you’ll be happy to know that Young American Cider now has a brick and mortar spot in Germantown.  After years of pop-ups, festivals and tasting events, Young American Cider now calls 6350 Germantown Ave. home.

Owners Jesse Bilger, Kate Kaman and Stephanie Cole are committed to quality using  only fresh apple juiced sourced right here in Pennsylvania. Young American Cider also does all fermentation onsite. The new location in Germantown offers a tasting room that features three kinds of gluten free ciders on draft which includes hopped cider, tart cherry and their traditional dry, all of which are aged around six months.  In addition Young American Cider will also offer Kombucha and seasonal options such as their  hot spiced spiked cider.  For beer lovers, P.A beers will also be served.  The current P.A beer spotlight is the Bad Nina from Attic Brewing.

So what about the grub?  Well Cole’s handmade pies will be on the menu with three choices including

  • Tempendah -(vegetarian, Vegan option made to order) with sage tempeh, sweet potato and coriander kale
  • Spicy ‘Shroom– vegetarian, Vegan option made to order) Spicy umami blend meets hickory BBQ with spicy chili-paprika kale
  • Rout 23 – Classic Cheesesteak style. burger & mushroom blend chopped with provolone cheese, caramelized onions and parsley

Due to the pandemic Young American Cider is only offering outdoor fire pit heated seating.  Their current hours of operation are Thursdays 4 pm – 9 pm and Fridays and Saturdays 4 pm to 10 pm.
