Philly Cider Week Returns with Weeklong Activities Including a Cider Stroll, Cheese Pairings, BBQ and Cider Tastings, and More
The Philly fall tradition, Philly Cider Week, is back for 2025 with a full lineup of events celebrating Pennsylvania-grown apples and the cideries that turn them into world-class beverages. From October 26 through November 3, cider lovers can enjoy tastings, pop-ups, pairings, and one-of-a-kind experiences at venues across the region — from Reading Terminal Market and Fishtown to Historic RittenhouseTown and beyond.
Now in its latest edition, Philly Cider Week continues to highlight the craft, creativity, and agricultural heritage behind orchard-driven cider. The festival brings together producers, chefs, cheesemongers, and mixologists for over a dozen events that showcase how Pennsylvania’s apples inspire everything from crisp, traditional dry ciders to innovative, modern blends.
The festivities begin with “Time for Something… Cider” on October 23 at Bonn Place Brewing, where all taps will be swapped to feature cider from Pennsylvania producers including Ploughman, Frecon Farms, 5 Maidens, and Wyndridge. Guests can enjoy an informal introduction to some of the state’s best orchard-based ciders in a relaxed brewery setting.
The official opening event, “Sunday Cider Stroll,” takes place on October 26 beneath the Headhouse Shambles in collaboration with The Food Trust and South Street Headhouse District. The stroll features vendors, live music by Chuck Darwin & The Knuckledraggers, children’s activities, and a charitable Cider Passport program, with proceeds benefiting The Food Trust’s food access initiatives.
Throughout the week, Philly’s cider scene will blend with the city’s vibrant food culture.
