Forin Cafe’s Chef Residency Continues With Couch Cafe Featuring “Tour of Italy” Menu Experience
This past November Forin Cafe (2525 Frankford Ave.) launched their chef residency program with Filipino restaurant Tabachoy. Now it looks like they are switching gears from Asia to Europe with Tour of Italy menu experience.
From March 1st through May 25th, Chef Elizabeth “Liz” Grothe’s Couch Cafe will be popping up at Forin every Thursday-Saturday. Guests will have the option of choosing between the 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm seating.
The first month will focus on Tuscany and will feature dishes such as panzanella, rabbit lasagnetta, tiramisu, and a few other classics. Future menu items to be announced will focus around other areas of Italy including Calabaria and Sicily. In addition to the meal, Forin Cafe will also offer a variety of themed cocktails including Rhubarb Highball. Bergamot Gin & Tonic, and Olive Garden Rum Punch.
