Philadelphia’s bowling lanes are turning into a force for good this fall as The Turkey Bowl 2025: Charity Bowling Tournament & Coat Drive rolls into Sproul Lanes (745 S Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA) on November 22, from 8 to 11 p.m. This community-driven event blends friendly competition with a powerful purpose: raising funds and collecting winter coats for families in need across the Philadelphia region.

Hosted by We Golf Now, The Turkey Bowl brings together four local nonprofits making meaningful impact year-round — We Golf Now, As I Plant This Seed, Black Girls With Green Thumbs, and Lambert Legacy Charities — all competing on the lanes in a spirited, bracket-style showdown. Attendees can bowl alongside the organizations, cheer them on, and contribute directly to initiatives focused on youth development, food access, mentorship, education, and community wellness.

GA tickets includes three hours of bowling, shoe rental, and food while VIP tickets include an open bar, creating a full evening of fun wrapped in a mission that benefits the city. Music, host activations, and a high-energy crowd will keep the atmosphere lively from the first strike to the final frame.

This year’s goal is ambitious and urgently needed: raising funds for partner nonprofits and collecting 500+ winter coats to be distributed ahead of the holiday season. Guests are encouraged to bring a new or gently used coat for children, teens, or adults; collection bins will be stationed at check-in.

Wooder Ice will be in the building as an official partner with its own sponsored lane reserved for the team. Attendees can stop by, connect, bowl, and capture the moments throughout the night. Additional crew members, collaborators, and supporters can join the fun by grabbing tickets on Eventbrite.

Proceeds from the event will directly support:

  • We Golf Now – expanding access to golf, mentorship, and character-building opportunities for local youth

  • As I Plant This Seed – providing education, enrichment, holiday drives, and youth wellness programming

  • Black Girls With Green Thumbs – growing food education, gardening programs, and community green space initiatives

  • Lambert Legacy Charities – supporting families in need with resources, outreach, and community leadership programs

Together, these organizations represent the spirit of Philadelphia’s grassroots power — planting seeds of opportunity, nourishment, learning, and joy.
