Take a minute to scroll through your friend’s Snapchat stories.  I am pretty sure you’ll see clips of their drunken night out, food pics, and several clips of them driving listening to some old school jams.  Point is for the most part Snapchat is well… pointless. However, Dr. Shafi Ahmed of The Royal London and St. Bartholomew’s Hospital is actually using Snap for something truly meaningful.

Just recently Dr. Ahmed used the new Snapchat Spectacles to Snap a live surgery.  His glasses captured 10 second clips that were watched by thousands of med students live.  Then hundreds watched the story thereafter.  He may not get super famous and tour the U.S like say DJ Khaled but Dr. Ahmed is becoming a Snapchat rockstar in the medical field.  This is a dope way to utilize the existing social media and use it for something other than selfies.  Take a look!
