“Do the Right Thing” & “The Goonies” Will be Showing at the The Navy Yard Drive-in Theater!
The Philadelphia Film Society has been screening some classic flicks at The Navy Yard and they continue to add more great flicks to the line-up.
The latest additions to the drive-in experience will be Spike Lee’s iconic movie Do the Right Thing which will be shown May 10th at 8:40 pm. This film is being presented by For The Culture: A Drive-in Movie event.
An event designed to highlight culturally relevant cinematic films and create a safe space for the black community to gather. Our overall goal is to celebrate the experiences of the Black community through movies, music, and virtual conversations.
In addition the 80’s cult classic The Goonies will be shown May 17th at 8:45 pm. The Goonies is part of PFS’s Free Community Screenings, and presented in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia.
