Jeff Highsmith’s initial goal was to create something for his sons that would not get lost or destroyed like a toy or video game.  So he did what most of us would have done and built a lifestyle, functioning NASA spaceship simulator.  The video above shows how he did it in a kind of step-by-step process.  When I was a youngster I was happy with just a cardboard box.
