The Baltimore Avenue Dollar Stroll returns on Thursday, June 4, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., bringing thousands of visitors to Baltimore Avenue for an evening packed with affordable food, shopping, entertainment, and community fun.
Stretching from 40th Street to 51st Street, the popular event transforms the commercial corridor into a neighborhood-wide celebration featuring one-night-only specials priced at just $1, $3, and $5 from local restaurants, retailers, artists, and community organizations.
Since launching in 2010, the Baltimore Avenue Dollar Stroll has become a staple of the neighborhood, drawing crowds eager to explore West Philadelphia’s diverse businesses while enjoying live music, art activities, family-friendly programming, and plenty of surprises along the way.
Affordable Eats From Around the World
One of the biggest draws of the Dollar Stroll is the chance to sample food from some of West Philly’s favorite restaurants without breaking the bank.
This year’s lineup includes everything from Ethiopian cuisine and tacos to cheesesteaks and sushi.
Highlights include:
- Amari’s serving $1 crab cake egg rolls and $3 shrimp and grits
- Booker’s Restaurant & Bar offering $1 wings and $5 wine
- Carbon Copy featuring $3 tomato pie slices and $5 draft beers
- Chai Nashta with $1 bhel puri and $5 butter chicken sliders
- Dahlak serving Ethiopian specialties including $5 Dahlak cheesesteaks
- Doro Bet Ethiopian Fried Chicken with $1 berbere wings

Visitors can easily build an international food tour while strolling through the neighborhood.
Beyond the food, dozens of local artists, makers, and retailers will offer special Dollar Stroll pricing on everything from handmade goods and beauty products to books, plants, jewelry, artwork, and home décor.
One of the featured activations during this year’s Dollar Stroll will be the All Love Block Party, bringing music, movement, and community energy to the corner of 48th Street and Baltimore Avenue from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The free outdoor celebration will feature live sounds from DJ Yazir Da Deejay, dance classes led by Afrvbz, and performances by local artists Bekah Elaine and Elicapella. The event will be hosted by Rae Dianz and is designed to create a vibrant gathering space where neighbors and visitors can connect, dance, and celebrate West Philadelphia culture.
Taking place alongside the Dollar Stroll festivities, the All Love Block Party adds another layer of entertainment to an evening already packed with food specials, shopping, and family-friendly activities.
