Broad Street Love to Host the Inaugural Love Your Neighbor Festival With Live Music, Vendors, and Beer Garden

Here’s a festival for a great cause. On Sunday, October 27, Broad Street Love (315 S. Broad St.) will host its first Love Your Neighbor Festival from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.. The Festival is an all-day, family-friendly celebration featuring food and drinks from local vendors like Love City Brewing, who will serve its Broad Street Love-inspired ‘Love Your Neighbor’ brew in the beer garden.

The Love Your Neighbor Festival will offer a variety of shopping opportunities with pop-ups from local makers and thrifters, along with live entertainment by the Bearded Ladies, Crotchet-Quaver and the Rests Interactive Drum Circle among others.

Broad Street Love (BSL) was founded in 2005 as an alternative worship community led by Rev. Bill Golderer. This community welcomed all who came through the doors with the Radical Hospitality that has become the organization’s guiding star and the core of the unique offering of stabilizing services it provides to Philadelphians today. BSL’s long-term vision is not only to meaningfully reduce the trauma and suffering caused by scarcity, but, along with best-in-class social service and government partners, to break the cycle of poverty, homelessness, and hunger in Philadelphia.
