Philly Artist Chill Moody to Host the 2nd annual nicethings Invitational Golf Tournament
The greater Philadelphia region is home to some of the best golf courses in the country and Philly-based artist and entrepreneur Chill Moody looks to create a unique golf experience at his upcoming 2nd Annual nicethings invitational.
Now in its second year, the nicethings Invitational celebrity tee off will take place August 11th at Lederach Golf Course in Harleysville, PA. The tournament will benefit Chill’s newly launched non-profit “We Golf Now” which focuses on getting more Black & Brown youth into the game of golf.
Founded by hiphop artist/entrepreneur Chill Moody, “The nicethings Invitational is a golf brand focused on introducing and infusing Black culture into the sport of golf through youth programs, celebrity golf outings, amateur golf tournaments, merchandising and content production,” states Chill Moody
This year, The nicethings Invitational will also be a featured Major tournament in the Amateur Golf Society’s AGS Tour. This special event is the “tee off” celebration for The nicethings Invitational. A celebrity golf scramble featuring a live concert on the “19th hole.” and an awards reception. “Our main fundraising initiative, this charity golf outing will inform attendees of the work The nicethings Invitational & We Golf Now does to connect the culture with some of the top names and brands in golf,” Moody explains.
