Philly Fashion Week is Back Sept. 20th-24th With Runway Shows, Workshops, Networking Events & More
Philly Fashion Week is making its show stopping return this month, promising a captivating variety of free and ticketed runway shows, immersive activations, inspiring workshops, and unparalleled networking events.
Celebrating its 18th year, Philly Fashion Week continues to be a beacon of opportunity and innovation for the fashion industry. “This year’s lineup is a testament to the incredible talent within our city and beyond” said co-founder, Kevin Parker. “It’s a celebration of fashion in all its forms.”
“From our Student Design Competition & Trend Show to our Youth Runway Show,we are committed to fostering emerging talent, and this year is no exception,” said co-founder Kerry Scott. “Designers, models, industry professionals, and fashion enthusiasts alike can expect an unforgettable experience that celebrates diversity, creativity, and innovation.”
For the 5th year in a row, the fashion leaders are partnering with Fab Scrap and Fashion District Philadelphia to present their “Next Up Student Design Competition & Trend Show” where select local students will have the opportunity to present their latest designs for a chance to win $1,000 and an educational session with industry professionals.
Students from Moore College of Art, Jefferson University, Drexel University, Harcum University, University of Delaware and Albright College will be competing at Fashion District Philadelphia on Thursday, September 21st at 5:30PM. This event is free and open to the public.
The week continues with the Avantgarde Ball on Friday, September 22nd; the “can’t miss” party and kick off event for the weekend runway shows. Taking place in the courtyard at Two Commerce Square, attendees will enjoy live entertainment, fashion activations and food from delicious local eateries. This is an opportunity to come dressed in your “couture” best, and mingle with the industry’s top leaders and community. Tickets can be purchased HERE and are $82.22.
The Runway l show will take place on Saturday, September 23rd at 7:00PM, and will highlight designers – Suede Square, Kovid Kapoor, Nasheli Juliana, Chamberlin Brand, Mind of Cool Rumors, TRTL Collective, Wonesh Designs, Fruitful Rooster, Andy Yu, Lewis Beilharz, Autumnlin, Closet by Christobal The Streetwear/Youth Runway show will take on place on Sunday, September 24th at 1:00PM, and will highlight designers – IVAT, LREVERE, LE MORE, Mister Sir Brand, Visionaries, Atelier H, Ethyl.B, 7GODXX.

Tickets can be purchased at phillyfashionweek.org for $50. “Our runway shows are guaranteed to inspire and showcase the most creative and talented designers in the game,” said Parker. “This is truly an experience that you do not want to miss.”
