CO-OP Partners with Little Baby’s for Summer Solstice Pop-Up!
CO-OP Restaurant & Lounge, the bustling modern restaurant located on the corner of 33rd and Chestnut Sts., is teaming up with local small-batch, hand-made ice cream company, Little Baby’s Ice Cream, for a one-day only ice cream pop-up in celebration of the summer solstice – Friday, June 21st at noon.
To celebrate the first day of summer, CO-OP will be giving away FREE one-scoop ice cream cones courtesy of Little Baby’s Ice Cream, beginning at noon, until supplies last. Ice cream lovers can choose between two flavors: Bourbon Vanilla or Vegan Smoked Cinnamon (made with coconut milk).
“Ice cream is the quintessential summer treat, so we wanted to celebrate the first day of the season with a Philly favorite – Little Baby’s,” said Justin Hersker, Food and Beverage Director at CO-OP Restaurant & Lounge. “Come out, enjoy a free scoop, play a game of corn hole and enjoy the summer sun!”
In addition to the complimentary ice cream cone, guests can play a game of corn hole on CO-OP’s beautiful patio while enjoying the first few hours of summer. CO-OP’s delicious Rosé Popsicles ($13) will also be available, boasting rosé, fresh blueberries, and fresh strawberries.
The Little Baby’s Ice Cream cones will be available for pick-up at CO-OP’s to-go window (to the left of the host stand). Guests should enter via the Chestnut Street entrance.
