Weckerly’s and Cake Life Bake Shop Teamed-Up For National Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day
Believe it or not a very special holiday almost slipped by us all unnoticed. Saturday February 2nd is National Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast day. Luckily for us two awesome desert spots caught wind and teamed-up to help us all celebrate. Fishtown’s finest Weckerly’s Ice Cream and Cake Life Bake Shop will be offering a very special treat.
Beginning at 9 a.m. through 12:30 p.m., Weckerly’s ( 9 W Girard Ave,) will serve up a breakfast sundae, which will be made French Toast bread pudding from Cake Like Bake Shop and topped with crème fraiche ice cream, Rival Bros espresso hot fudge, whipped cream and candied corn flakes. If you’re feeling guilty about eating desert for breakfast just know that they will be donating a portion of sales to The Fund for the School District of Philadelphia.
So treat yourself this Saturday and have ice cream for breakfast. Don’t forget to set your alarm!
