Disney On Ice Is Coming to Philly This Holiday Season With an All-New Show Featuring 30+ Characters
The holidays just got a whole lot more magical. Disney On Ice presents Spotlight Magic! skates into Xfinity Mobile Arena from December 27 through January 3, bringing an all-new production packed with more than 30 beloved Disney characters, world-class figure skating, aerial acrobatics, and a soundtrack that blends timeless classics with modern Disney Channel hits.
Hosted by Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy, Spotlight Magic! rolls out the red carpet for a glamorous celebration of Disney’s most beloved worlds — and the excitement begins before the show even starts. Guests are invited to strut the red carpet upon arrival, dress to impress, and soak in the Hollywood-inspired atmosphere before the lights go down. Tickets are available at disneyonice.com.
This production introduces several Disney On Ice debuts worth noting. From Zootopia 2, pop sensation Gazelle and newcomer Gary De’Snake join fan favorites Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde for an all-new adventure. From Lilo & Stitch, Angel makes her highly anticipated North American debut, soaring above the arena on a sparkling chandelier before reuniting with Stitch in a heartwarming on-ice moment.
The show also features a never-before-seen Disney Villains showcase, putting the Evil Queen, Gaston, Maleficent, and Ursula center stage in what promises to be one of the production’s most memorable segments.
Beyond the character moments, Spotlight Magic! delivers on the production side with jaw-dropping aerial acrobatics, a kinetic chandelier made of 64 glowing light bars, cutting-edge LED technology, a moving camera boom that sweeps spotlights across the ice, and shimmering lanterns illuminating the entire arena.
Beloved stories from Beauty and the Beast, Tangled, Toy Story, Moana, and Monsters, Inc. are all woven throughout the show, powered by a soundtrack ranging from “Be Our Guest” and “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” to “Pumpin’ Up the Party” and “Good to Be Bad.”
