Tequila Ocho and John’s Water Ice Team Up for Free Paloma-Flavored Water Ice Giveaway Across Philadelphia
Philly’s water ice season is getting a tequila-inspired twist this weekend as Tequila Ocho teams up with John’s Water Ice to celebrate World Paloma Day with free Paloma-flavored water ice giveaways at restaurants across the region.
The limited-edition flavor returns just in time for National Paloma Day on Friday, May 22, combining the refreshing citrus flavors of the classic tequila cocktail with one of Philadelphia’s signature summer treats.
To kick things off, Jaffa Bar will host an opening celebration on Thursday beginning at 5 p.m. in collaboration with El Chingon, featuring the John’s Water Ice truck onsite serving the seasonal specialty.
Beginning Friday, guests can score a complimentary Paloma water ice at participating restaurants by ordering a Tequila Ocho Paloma cocktail, snapping a photo, and posting it to Instagram or Facebook using the hashtag #FlyLaPalomaOcho.
The annual collaboration has become a warm-weather favorite for tequila lovers looking to cool off with a Philly classic.
