Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley Set to Open a 7,200-Square-Foot Venue on South Broad Street Featuring 50+ Southern Comfort Dishes
Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley will open its doors in Philly on Saturday, October 18, at 225 South Broad Street. The new location, situated on the ground floor of the Cambria Hotel, marks the sixth restaurant in the Dallas-based chain and will be its largest to date.
The 7,200-square-foot venue will seat up to 300 guests and employ more than 125 local hospitality professionals, making it the largest Black-owned restaurant in Philadelphia. The restaurant features a two-story layout with soaring ceilings, a dramatic balcony, and immersive décor, including a flower wall adorned with hundreds of red roses. The space also includes The Asset Lounge, a private dining and event room reimagined from the building’s original bank vault, designed to accommodate up to 40 guests.
The menu will focus on elevated Southern comfort food, with more than 50 dishes including shrimp and grits, fried chicken and waffles, Caribbean jerk lamb chops, seafood gumbo, blackened salmon, and candied yams. Appetizers start at $13, with entrees beginning at $21. A beverage program featuring premium spirits will complement the food offerings.
Kevin Kelley, founder and CEO of Kitchen + Kocktails, described Philadelphia as an important expansion city due to its culture and food scene. “I chose Philly because I love this city and the fantastic, hard-working people who live in and around the City of Brotherly Love, as they are incredibly passionate about their city and their food scene,” Kelley said.
Kitchen + Kocktails opened its first location in Dallas in 2020 and has since expanded to Chicago, Washington, D.C., Charlotte, and Atlanta. Reservations for the Philadelphia location open on September 19, 2025.
