The 6th Annual Fishtown Chili Cookoff Will Be at the Fillmore

Looks like the Fishtown Chili Cookoff is avoiding the elements and bringing the the sweet and spicy flavors indoors.  Taking place Sunday April 17th the festivities kick-off at 12:30 pm inside Philly’s new premier concert venue The Fillmore.

So just how big is the Fishtown Chili Cookoff going to be this year?  Well expect over 20 of the best restaurants, businesses as well is individuals to be serving up a wide variety of chili.  Even if this isn’t your first time there are still plenty of new entries this year including Heffe Tacos, Kensington Quarters and the all-new Fishtown Social.  Yes, the fancy wine bar is throwing their hat in the ring. Last year’s winner Fette Sau looks to retain the title which was held by Lloyd Whiskey Bar the previous year.

The cookoff which is put together by the Fishtown Neighborhood Association, seems to attract bigger and bigger crowds each year and considering it’s indoors, it’s best to get your tickets now before they sell out. Tickets to the event are e$20 a pop and can be purchased here.
