Philly’s oldest and largest restaurant tradition returns on Thursday, April 24th. The 35th Annual Dining Out for Life® will be taking place and will feature 40 of Philly’s top restaurants and chefs coming together for a great cause.

Dining  out for Life will welcome thousands of diners for a night of great food and giving back. Participating restaurants agree to donate a portion of their proceeds to support local individuals living with HIV. For 2025, this year’s restaurant line-up reads like a who’s who of the region’s most award-winning restaurants, with notable names.  Hours vary by restaurant and reservations are encouraged in advance. “Dining Out for Life is a 35 year old Philadelphia tradition that brings together top restaurants, chefs and foodies for an important night to help 2,000+ people living with HIV,” said Action Wellness Executive Director Mary Evelyn Torres. “With very little effort, people in the greater Philadelphia area can help end HIV simply by going to a participating restaurant on April 24th. I thank everyone for being part of this extraordinary experience. I am also grateful to the culinary community and our sponsors that, in the past and today, continue to come together for an important life-saving event transforming an ordinary dining experience into an act of caring and compassion. Thank you to everyone who has dined out with us over the past 34 years and helped us raise over $5 million for Action Wellness”

“My favorite part of the event is the community aspect and simplicity of it,” said Action Wellness Development Coordinator Kevin Vuernick. “I have made it a point to dine out during this event for as long as I can remember. Inevitably you always see a longtime friend or acquaintance who is also dining out to support the cause. Going out to eat is something so many of us do regularly without thinking about it. The hardest part for me is deciding where to eat. The decision about whether to go to an old familiar haunt or go to one of the wonderful new places or somewhere I have yet to try is always the most difficult. But each year the one thing I know is it is always so rewarding.”

“Dining Out for Life is simply delicious and elegant and perfect for a night of conversation, hope, help and friendship,” said The Love Co-Owner and Restauranteur Aime Olexy. “Starr Restaurants have proudly been supporting this important cause for over 15 years.”
