Who’s Hungry? The Philadelphia Cheesesteak and Food Fest is Coming to Citizen’s Bank Park

Thousands of Philly food lovers will join together at Citizen’s Bank Park for the third annual Philly Cheesesteak and Food Fest on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Guests will be treated like ballpark royalty with Philly food favorites showcased throughout the entire concourse. With cheesesteaks, craft beers, live entertainment and appearances with Cheesy the Cheesesteak and the Phillies Phanatic mascot, guests are guaranteed an experience of a lifetime.

Sample a variety of Philadelphia’s signature eats all in the same place. The Guinness Book of World Records awarded the Steve’s Prince of Steaks (a vendor at the festival) for having the world’s largest cheesesteak in 2015, creating a sandwich measuring some 480 feet; that length shattered the previous world record of 426 feet, which was set in 2011. Not a fan of cheesesteaks? Not a problem! Guests can taste samples from more than 40 different Philadelphia food vendors and enjoy a stroll, and a tasty brew in the craft beer garden.

Flatliners Themed Sandwich

In addition to the standard Philly favorite cheesesteaks and sandwiches, the festival will incorporate the most anticipated upcoming movie, Flatliners, starring Nina Dobrev, Ellen Page, Diego Luna, and Keifer Sutherland. Flatliners, a sponsor of the event will have its own themed sandwich for the festival, created by Devault Foods. “We couldn’t be more excited bringing this great Philly event back again. This year we have even more great options for food, drink, and entertainment. This is the cheesesteak event of the year,” says David Feldman, Organizer of the Philly Cheesesteak and Food Fest.
