Sunset Movie Nights Return to Schuylkill Banks With Outdoor Screenings of Jaws, Dirty Dancing, Raiders of the Lost Ark & More
Summer movie nights are returning to the waterfront as Schuylkill Banks brings back its popular Sunset Movie Nights series for the 2026 season.
The outdoor film series invites Philadelphians to grab blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets for free movie screenings under the stars along the Schuylkill River throughout the summer.
Movies will take place either at the Grays Ferry Crescent Esplanade or the grassy area just north of the Walnut Street Bridge, with screenings beginning at sunset around 8:00–8:30 p.m.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early to claim a spot, catch the sunset, or even hop on a kayak tour before the movie begins.
