Whole Foods Market located on Callowhill is now offering bike delivery on weekdays until 5 p.m. Those looking to take advantage of this service must place orders before 3 p.m. for same-day delivery. As for which areas in Center City Whole Foods plans to deliver to, the range will be from Broad Street to 26th Street and Brown Street to South Street. In addition customers must be able to meet the delivery riders at their door or in their building’s lobby.
If you happen to live outside the delivery range don’t panic as Whole Foods has stated that delivery outside of the range is available via special request, the store recommends those who live in spots farther away use a third party service called Instacart,
Whole Foods has recognized that delivery can be a vital service and revenue stream as many Americans simply do not have the time to grocery shop. Grocery delivery is definitely not anything new but the growing trend has swayed the supermarket giant to offer the service here in Philly.
