Bourbon Infused Fudge Is A Thing…And You Need To Try It
When I think of fudge, I think of the fudge I used to get as a kid on the boardwalk at the shore. This weekend, Spring Garden’s craft beer and whiskey bar, The Institute (549 N 12th St) is serving up an adult version of your childhood favorite. On Saturday, from 2:00pm until 8:00pm, you’ll have the chance to get homemade fudge that’s been infused with bourbon or whiskey from Buffalo Trace Distillery as well as craft cocktails and beer from Flying Dog Brewery. Specialty Fudge is served as a plate for $6.
Boozy Fudge options include:
Classic chocolate fudge made with Fireball candied bacon and infused with Buffalo Trace
Pumpkin Spice Fudge made with Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey
Black Forest fudge made with Eagle Rare Single Barrell Bourbon candied cherries and Toasted coconut sprayed with Eagle Rare
Specialty Cocktails Include:
Philly Throat Punch–Apple brandy, Fireball cinnamon whiskey, spiced rum, meyer lemon, nutmeg
Where Eagles Dare–Eagle Rare, Aperol, Lemon, Sweet Ginger
Buffalo Mule–Buffalo Trace, key lime, spiced simple syrup, ginger beer
