Whoa, The Franklin Institute’s Science After Hours is Having a Game of Thrones Themed Night With Specialty Cocktails!
It’s the show that turned us all into nerds and we loved every second of the epic journey. HBO’s Game of Thrones has everything you’d want in a fantasy world including dragons, elves, royal families, evil villains and magic! Now you you can experience the majestic ambiance of Game of Thrones January 22nd from 7-10 pm at the next Science After Hours at the Franklin Institute.
Guests should brace themselves for the fiercest fantasy adventure yet as you step back in time to experience the medieval period in an evening unlike any other. Witness the ultimate scientific battle for the throne. Meet the earthly inspirations behind the dragons of the silver screen. Test for poisons, and study the properties of blood. Learn how to plan a wedding that doesn’t end in a disaster. Listen to the traditional Balkan sounds of the West Philadelphia Orchestra. Plus, themed trivia, specialty cocktails, and live photo ops throughout the night.
The evening isn’t complete without a voyage through Vikings: Beyond the Legend, the Institute’s marquee special exhibition, included in this mighty edition of Science After Hours.
