This Weekend Pizzeria Cappelli is Donating $1 Per Slice to the Orlando Victims
There’s no doubt that the tragedy in Orlando has impacted the vast majority of Americans. Aside from expressing your outrage on social media or attending vigils there’s something you can do that can directly help the victim’s families. Local pizza shop, Pizzeria Cappelli is stepping-up to the plate and showing how much Philly stands with Orlando.
Located in the heart of the Gayborhood(209 S. 13th), Pizzeria Cappelli (formally Gay Pizza) will be serving up their slices for the greater good. $1 from every slice sold will be donated to the victims of the Pulse Nightclub tragedy. Working with the Stonewall Community Foundation, brothers Mike and Andrew Cappelli knew that had to get involved and provide relief so what better way then to use their business to help others in a time of need.
If you’re looking to help the cause, the shop will be open 4 pm -4 am everyday, so you’ll have plenty of time to head down there and grab a slice and donate to this great charity.
